My First Kinnikuman Graphic Tees: Brocken Jr. and Buffaloman@Chojin Blood Brigade...teenage/current cartoon crush?

As mentioned previously, I used to have crush on Brocken Jr. when I was reading the comic on a real-time basis. I think most of female readers were enamored with him. It is said that 90% or at least majority of his fans were girls/women. 

After when I grew up and re-read the comic, I rather became attracted to Buffaloman.

Well, I am no longer a dreamy teen, so let's say Buffaloman is just my #1 favorite character at present.

So it is no wonder that the first tees I bought at KIN29 SHOP were of these two characters.

They are wearing fatigue costumes similar to the cover illustration of vol. 28.

During "Survival Match for the Kinniku Throne" series, Kinnikuman has to fight a battle with four other successor candidates to prove his legitimacy. Brocken Jr. and Buffaloman leave Kinnikuman for Kinniku Soldier, one of the successor candidate. The two and Devil Chojins Ashuraman and The Ninja are fascinated by Soldier's manhood. Setting Soldier as captain, they form a team called Chojin Blood Brigade.

I came up the stylings below with Uniqlo's marine hooded jacket (yellow).

Let's begin with safer styling.

M. E. Chevreul--a French scholar who significantly influenced modern day theory of color combination-- regarded yellow and blue were contrasting colors that harmonized.

I chose blue as dominant color in this styling. Base color would be yellow of the jacket. Gray is assort color.

 Since I was planning to go hiking this weekend, I switched over the tight knit skirt to GU's denim-like tapered pants. It looks like jeans, but the fabric used is much lighter and softer than denim. I think it was jersey fabric. The pants were quite a good buy. It looks fashionable and versatile just like real tapered jeans, but joint-friendly.

Also added stretchy navy blue down vest and gray leg warmers.

This is how it looks without the yellow jacket.

But since I did not feel well the very day, we decided to stay at day use room at a hotel to indulge in luxurious in-room dining.

This is what actually I wore at the hotel; it was quite a classy hotel, so I sealed my taste for Kinnikuman tee.

 Next, I ventured to mix analogous color to the yellow jacket with Buffaloman's red tee.  

According to character reference, Buffaloman is Spanish. So, with the image of Spain's flag, I combined yellow jacket with red shirt. Big Spain, Marc Gasol's nickname also goes well with Buffaloman!:) Buffaloman is also a big man (250cm, again, according to character reference).
