My Collection of Buffaloman T-shirts (1)

Most of Kinnikuman characters are humorous, manly, as well as handsome.

Well, not handsome as when describing the characters of Gundam Wing or Seed, but I feel there is a retro nuance in each Chojin character (Note: chojin means superman; super=cho mankind=jin).

During my childhood, that is, while I was reading part of Kinnikuman manga in real time (I say "part of" because I lived overseas at that time, there were no digital books, and logistics system were not so advanced as in 21st century to procure books from Japan), my favorite character was Brocken Jr.

However, after reading the whole manga during these several months, I am being quite moved by Buffaloman’s attitude.

Maybe because we see many of his aspects while he is interacting with other characters; he acts like a boss among the six Devil Chojins, while speaking deferentially to Gold Mask (Gold Man) or breaking into tears when being helped by his Seigi (Justice) Chojin friends.

Just like in our real live, he shows multiple expressions during the whole story.

What's more, he is becoming more attractive in the ongoing arc, where he returns as the boss of six Devil Chojins, having combined cold-bloodedness and big heart.
So, here they are, the apparel goods in the motif of Buffaloman.

I have been collecting them since last December, when I first became aware of the existence of KIN29 SHOP, a store covering goods related to Kinnikuman.
(Note: I am in no way a stakeholder of the shop; just a zealous customer wanting to tell the world how fascinating the Kinnikuman tees are)
At present, the white shirt in the middle is my most favorite T-shirt.

Many factors related to Buffaloman are condensed into the illustration. The car lisence reads “Mo 10000000”, “mo” taken from part of “mogyu” = violent bull, which describes his brash personality. The tires are imprinted with the expression of “raging bull”.

The sign of “Route 6” is accompanied with up-and-down arrows, representing Kinniku Buster reversal move.

I came up with plain monotone dressing when I first picked this tee up.

Down vest/stole: Uniqlo
Pants: GU
Sneakers: Adidas Neo
It may also be applied to simple business casual attire. I was quite surprised that combining this tee with cotton pearl necklace, black jersey blazer and banding pattern tight skirt adds an urban air. Maybe people wouldn’t even realize you’re wearing a manga character’s tee!
Jacket: Uniqlo
Skirt: Re-J
Pumps: Shimamura
