First of all, I would like to thank the visitors from around the world. Thanks for visiting!
It is quite uplifting to know that there are many people with same interests scattered around the globe.
KIN29 SHOP occassionally takes a tour to countryside. One day the official site announced it was opening an ad hoc shop in Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture. Yamanashi is accessible from where we live. So off we drove to Kofu, where I found many treasures.
This tee, possibly sold as a limited product, has Kinnikuman, Warsman and Robin Mask dressed as warriors in Japanese medieval period (Sengoku era).
Precisely, Kinnikuman poses as Shingen Takeda, the famous warlord of Kai Region, that is, current Yamanashi.
Shingen is famous for not only expanding his dominion, but also for introducing domestic policies to improve his people's lives.
For example, Shingen was the first ruler of Kai that implemented full-scale flood control measures. The dike he built is still usable, called with respect as "Shingen Tsutsumi" (Shingen's dike).
Another example would be his aspect as a lawyer; he established "Koshu Hatto no Shidai" (put simply, Acts for Koshu Military House).
This Hatto mentions about dealings in real estate, proprietary rights, marriage between someone from other region, and management of conflict between vassals, etc. Quite interesting.
OK, so much for history lesson.
Kinnikuman is wearing Shingen's trademark helmet that is covered with yak's white fur.
His Russian and British friends standing behind are possibly posing as Masatoyo Naito and Nobufusa Baba respectively. Baba and Naito are two of the four major vassals of Shingen. I say that because there are small kanji characters on the corner of the two characters that read "Baba" and "Naito".
But today I would like to present this pretty little tote bag which was the only one left on the shelf.
I guess it depicts SteCasseKing just before the bout with Kinnikuman in Vol. 10 of comic.
There is a scene where he grooms in a relaxed way while Kinnikuman puts on a strained look...and wets his pants.
This styling is in the motif of "Kinnikuman"'s Weltanschauung.
I added Buffaloman tee because he's SteCasseKing's boss.
Boss and subordinate in unity!
Aside from that, this tee is quite useful.
Due to its monotone colorway, it prevents from looking too nerdy.
Rather, it projects an urbane taste.
Tee: KIN29 SHOP
Panama hat: GU
Pants: GU
Lace-ups: ItoYokado
A closer look at the accessories.
The bijouteries of this article are all from GU.
The standard colorway of black/beige always looks sophisticated.
I switched Buffaloman tee to Brocken Jr.'s.
Tee: KIN29 SHOP
Another alternative for bijouteries.
Red/black styling is eye-catching.
Again, I linked the logo of the bag and the tee.
SteCasseKing, his boss and his colleagues lumped together in one style.
Tee: KIN29 SHOP
My current obsession is wearing this drapey trench coat by ZARA I found several weeks ago.
I purchased green and navy blue, and they both make me look leaner.
Oh, and this deep color of forest green...I feel like a member of Survey Corps in "The Attack of Titan".
Although this style does not use Kinnikuman tee, I posted it anyways since it is my favorite spring styling.
Pants: Homemade
Trench coat: ZARA
Tunic: GU
Flat pumps: ItoYokado
This bracelet is not from GU; it is from MUK, a Japanese accessory brand. I purchased it after shopping at ad hoc KIN29 SHOP.
Denim on denim appears in vogue this year, so I joined the bandwagon too.
Ho hum...I guess this style is for the experienced fashionistas.
Let's not forget about skirts.
And let's not bother the backlight...
It's hardly noticeable, but the tee is Brocken Jr.'s.
I thought it would go well with beige pleated skirt, giving a girly taste. Sort of a relaxed style.
Hat: Uniqlo
Denim jacket: Levi's
Sneakers: Nike Dual Fusion
Skirt: Honey's
Another feminine casual version with Brocken Jr.'s tee.
The light color of the hat and the pinstripe pattern of the skirt makes you look taller.
Sneakers: Adidas Run Neo
Skirt: GU
