One sunny Saturday, my husband went to collect his car that had been under inspection of car dealer. When he returned home, he handed me a big shopping bag again!
In it were three melamine petri dish-like plates, a melamine coffee cup, three rubber mascots, and three tin pencil cases.
"I purchased all lineups available at 7-ELEVEn."
He told me they were ordinary products for sale, unlike the raffle prizes I mentioned in last article.
The petri dish-like plates and the cup are of the same design. An idyllic scene, where members of Survey Corps are enjoying a peaceful tea time with 7-ELEVEn products such as cream puffs and cakes. There is playfulness in this illustration, since they are all using cutleries with 7-ELEVEn logo on them.
One plate includes Armin, Jean, Hange, and Erwin. Jean is standing sulkily behind Armin as Armin leans toward Mikasa (shown in next picture) for a cup of tea/coffee (Probably coffee, since 7=ELEVEn provides cafe-like drinks. And yes, they are quite delicious. I like them more than Starbucks coffees). Hange chatters in a relaxed way while Erwin quietly shoots a look at her.
Next plate; Mikasa is providing a drink to Armin. Eren seems to be conversing with Hange, while Krista sweetly offers pastries to Levi who sits with a remote air.
The third plate depicts Eren and Levi sitting together.
Back of the package also displays a bit of playfulness. It says "You can use it for placing small articles!" Whoa, wait, isn't that the key Eren's dad used to flash in front of his son?
This is how the cup looks like.
The sepia color gives a nostalgic and fragile taste, as if to resemble the peacetime they are enjoying. Well, it's made of melamine, so in a functional sense, it is not fragile.
Another lineup with retro taste, the tin cases. They all feature Levi since they are related to prequel "No Regrets".
Each case contains Hi-Chew with playfulness again. It reads "Hei-Cho", Levi's rank in Japanese. On the bottom is the phrase "Come on, Lance Corporal Levi, try it!--Coke Flavor--".
Last but not least, the rubber mascots. Interestingly, Eren is paired with Levi instead of Mikasa. Mikasa pairs with Erwin while Armin is with Jean. The descriptive text on the back says you can freely customize the combination.
*Update, June 1, 2015*
The petri dishes are now held by easels.
