Tees Purchased at KIN29 SHOP During Summer Sale

We dropped by KIN29 SHOP after a long interval. 

As mentioned in Hieizan's article, these few months, we did not find attractive goods at official website, and did not feel like going to Ikebukuro, one of the most crowded spots in Metropolitan Tokyo.

However, last weekend was a three-day holiday, and we assumed many Tokyoites were off to countryside; the shop's Facebook also lured us announcing summer sale (I do not know about other countries, but from June to July, many shops in Tokyo begin bargain season. Probably because many employees have bonus paid in June)

This is what we purchased last Saturday. Ikebukuro Sunshine was less crowded than usual that day.   

The white ones are for me. The purple shirt with the illustration of Six Devil Chojins (holding dismembered parts of Alexandria Meat) is for my husband.

I have been obsessed with white shirts since this spring and after purchasing Buffaloman's monotone tee, 

so I bought two white shirts; one with a silhouette of Chojin Blood Brigade and the other with realistic design of SteCasseKing.

For people who have read my blog in the past, the former one may be familiar; yes, the design is identical to the pink version. 

Only that it looks more stylish with smalls details such as gold print and black piping. 

I thought of adding to my brand new handmade products--the gaucho pants--that have been in vogue in this country since this spring.

This one is my favorite textile, with antique-style labels in French printed on lavender base. Must admit that we the Japanese are suckers for styles with French letters...

I used to regard these kind of Japanese Francophiles as dorks, but once I visited Paris on business, I understood why they fell in love with France/things resembling France.

Having said that, all countries do have some sort of attractive factors!

Anyways, I made gaucho pants out of this cotton-linen fabric. I added a bit of NBA smack to it along with Kinnikuman factor. 

"LAL style"

I topped Uniqlo's yellow cotton parka. Unfortunately, this sort of fabric is getting too hot now in Tokyo.

This is how it looks when you change the bottoms. I changed the pants to GU's tapered pants.

I am so glad Marc Gasol re-signed with Grizzlies. It is always exciting to see the wonderful quartet (Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, Mike Conley, and Tony Allen) showing off their iron-clad defense skills.

Since both teams include gold, I am planning to wear these birdie accessories.

Both purchased at ALTA MARKET, located downstairs KIN29 SHOP. They are original products from Osewaya, an affordable brand that also merchandised jewerlies resembling Planetman. 

Aside from parakeets, there were Java sparrows and cockateels versions.

Bringing military-taste of Chojin Blood Brigade to the fore...I styled the tee with camo print gaucho pants (also made by me).

Combining white t-shirt with olive/khaki colored bottoms are now popular dressing displayed by many apparel companies.

Small items are all unified in green (except for sneakers).

Let's go to SteCasseKing's dressing.

Since I was running out of idea, I only came up with dressing in white/beige.

T-shirt, detachable collar, tulle skirt, panama hat, crew socks, and sandals...I tried to mix-and-match a variety of tastes.

The bag is also homemade. I love this Kabuki-inspired motif fabric. It is unique and chic.

It is also nice to coordinate the shirt and bag with motif of SteCasseKing. 

Here, I accompanied enamel-type laceup shoes to give a more "preppy" look.

KIN29 SHOP has been quite aggressive in sales promotion, and we received three novelty goods.

Left: a file with Kinnikuman in front. The background is full of famous scenes of the work.

Right: a poster with one of the new t-shirt's motif. There were two left, the one depicting Kinnikuman Phoenix and Bibimba and this one, Ramenman design based on Andy Warhol's "Campbell Soup".

Another was a poster quite similar to the file above. I have not prepared the frame for it yet, so I will post the picture when ready.
